The movie extravaganza you’ve all been waiting for! Lupin the 3rd vs Detective Conan makes it’s way in theaters on the 6th of March, 2014 (Thursday).



Lupin the Third vs. Detective Conan: The Movie was released in Japan theaters on 07 Dec 2013 and has became the highest grossing Detective Conan film with a box office taking close to US$40 million as of February 2013 .The film has topped the box office
gross of Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea, the Detective Conan franchise’s highest grossing film until now.

Detective Conan manga has been published by Shogakukan in the weekly magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday since February 1994. The manga have sold over 140 million copies in Japan alone. In 2001, it won the Shogakukan Manga Award which is regarded to be one of Japan’s major awards, sponsored by Shogakukan Publishing.

The anime adaptation for Detective Conan has been well received and ranked in the top twenty in Animage’s polls between 1996 and 2001. In the Japanese TV anime ranking, the episodes ranked in the top six on a weekly basis.

In 2009, a television special titled Lupin the 3rd vs.Detective Conan was aired and featured a crossover with the series Lupin III. It pits anime’s most famous thief, Lupin III, against anime’s most famous detective, Conan. The special ranked first on the Japanese Anime TV ranking of March 23–29, 2009. The DVD release sold over 7,000 in its first week.The Blu-ray edition was the third best selling anime between July 27 and August 2, 2009, and remained in the top twenty as of November 29, 2009.


Bypassing Inspector Zenigata and Inspector Megure, Lupin steals the Cherry Sapphire and then makes contact with Alan Smithee. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kudo, while watching TV, learns that Jigen, who is a member of Lugin’s group, will escort popular idol Emilio. Jimmy Kudo also learns that at Emilio’s live appearance tomorrow, a deal related to the Cherry Sapphire will take place.

It’s finally here! The movie exclusive we have all been waiting for so long! ODEX and Cathay proudly introduce you, GINTAMA: THE FINAL MOVIE. With our favorite voices of Daisuke Sakaguchi, Sugita Tomokazu, Rie Kugimiya and so many more, there’s just so much to talk about so little time to write about.

Today I shall share with you my today my friends, some interesting scenes you won’t wanna miss out on. What? Spoilers? Not at all! I can assure you, all you need to know are the main characters and their personas, humor and it will eventually find it’s way up and down your ribs! It’s more than an hour of laughter, not to mention a couple scenes of “Ooooos” & “Wowwws” !

I guess you might have gotten a glimpse of some familiar faces and some new assured, you know them all.

The plot places Gintoki Sakata several years in the future where Edo has been destroyed. In the city, Gintoki meets older versions of his comrades, Kagura and Shinpachi Shimura. Gintoki is mainly opposed by a group of sorcerers known as Enmi. Across his journey Gintoki is also set to encounter his past self from the war, White Devil, as an enemy.

The story line stayed true to the character’s original personas, bringing back together the raw humor at it’s best. I give this movie a full 5 Star rating because of it’s originality and creative use of dead-puns and black humor, to add further, the voice actors and actresses really brought their characters to life in this film. Overall, a movie you will not want to miss and I can guarantee you tons of laughter awaiting you that will make your day the moment you shout-out Hahahah!
